Millennium Park, one of the largest green roofs in the world.

Considered one of the largest green roofs in the world, Millennium Park is a big public park located in the city of Chicago, United States. The location is a perfect blend of architecture, landscaping and art, providing the ideal setting for cultural events and outings.

Occupying an area of almost 100 thousand m² , the park has four major artistic attractions: the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, an acoustical shell; the Cloud Gate sculpture; the modern Crown Fountain and Lurie Garden. Its construction consumed around 10 thousand metric tons of cement and involved challenging logistics, given that the park was built over a railway yard and large parking lots.
