Partnerships for the environment outweigh challenges of mining

For us, sustainable growth is possible only if it is aligned to the needs of the environment and the communities we are part of. And this alignment happens only through strong partnerships and open dialogue, so we started to work together with two entities focused on environmental conservation, the Brazilian Society of Speleology (SBE) and Atlantic Forest Reserve of the Biosphere (RBMA).

Main Goals: promote discussions leading to the best solutions to deal with the challenge of mining in areas with caves and Atlantic Forest.

Generated Benefits: protection of biodiversity and speleological heritage.

We promote dialogue with communities, government officials and other representatives of civil society organizations, in order to reach the best solutions to deal with the challenges of mining in areas with caves and Atlantic Forest. The result has been good socio-environmental practices that contribute to the protection of biodiversity and speleological heritage.

Each project born within this partnership has working groups involving all members of the cooperation and, often, outside consultants hired for technical support in the polls and case studies.
