The use of more sustainable energy sources in our operations is one of the pillars of our decarbonization strategy
On World Energy Day, celebrated on May 29, we reinforce the importance of investing in energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. This is one of the pillars of our decarbonization strategy, as we seek to use more sustainable energy sources in our operations.
One of our main strategic objectives is to ensure that, by 2030, 45% of the energy we consume globally will come from clean sources. This goal is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 7), which encourage investments to produce solar, wind and thermal energy, as well as to increase energy productivity.
To achieve our goal, we rely on hydroelectric energy (generated from the power of water), photovoltaic energy (generated from solar radiation) and wind energy (harnessed from wind).
We are continually investing in new projects and exploring opportunities that will lead us to a more sustainable world. Our commitment is to build a #Positive_Legacy of immeasurable value, helping to create a planet with fewer carbon emissions.
