Votorantim Cimentos received last Thursday, August 13th , the Award Época Negócios 360 in the category Building and Decoration Materials. The company was the best in the industry for presenting , in addition to solid financial performance , good corporate governance , human resources, environmental responsibility, capacity for innovation and forward thinking .
The award , which is sponsored by the Federation of São Paulo State Industries ( FIESP ) , was delivered during a ceremony in São Paulo, and was received by the CEO of the company, Walter Dissinger .
Votorantim Cimentos stood out among the criteria of the award for its global business strategy , with respect to the characteristics of the markets where it operates.
In recent years , the company has been working towards creating value not only for the business itself , but to the construction sector and the communities where it operates, in 14 countries of operation, following the One Team, One Company concept.
